Greg Bertke, the principal partner, possesses 25 years experience in the plastics industry. He spent over 15 years in various positions in engineering and manufacturing positions in injection molding, prior to starting Bertke Resins & Components. Greg got his start in the plastics industry painting plastic parts at Ford Motor Company in Detroit.

He possesses hands-on experience with automation, injection molding, gas assist molding, mold design, part design, plant layout and material selection. Greg is well versed in secondary operations such as Hot Plate Welding, Ultrasonic Welding, Vibration Welding, Spin Welding, Heat Staking, Leak Testing, Hot Stamping, Painting (including 2 component and UV), Electroplating, Pad Printing, Adhesives and Equipment, Modular/Cell Manufacturing and Assembly. He is experienced with robotics including Top Entry Robotics, Side Entry and High Speed Full Servo Side Entry Robots, Central Loading/Drying Systems and Part Conveying.
